In the tradition of the top-of-the-line transceivers IC-7800/IC-7700 Icom now offers the IC-7600. The receiver is a double superhet design with IF DSP, resulting in a much better intermod free dynamic range. Icom claims 104dB dynamic range and an IP3 of +30dBm. Equipped with two 32bit Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) the receiver has two AGC loops, one analog, one digital. This results in a perfectly controlled gain control.

Three selectable 1st IF roofing filters (15, 6 and 3kHz) provide a very good selectivity, especially at SSB and CW modes. The other IF filters are - as usual - freely programmable, due to the DSP design. Three filters can be programmed for each mode. With the well known twin passband tuning a fine tuning of the optimal bandwidth is possible during operation.

The IC-7600 offers the possibility to listen to two frequencies in one band at the same time (Dualwatch). This enables you to listen to the DX station on one VFO, and to the pile-up on the other.A must have for the serious DXer.

And the powerful signal processors offer many more functions, for example an effective noise cancellation, a variable noise blanker, automatic or manual notch filters with three selectable bandwidths, voice recorder functions for receive and transmit and much more. A precise TCXO (temperature controlled crystal oscillator) is factory installed, resulting in a very high frequency stability of ±0.5ppm. Especially digital modes like PSK31 etc benefit from this high stability.

The large colour LC display (5.8") offers a wide viewing angle and is for the first time equipped with a white LED backlight. This greatly reduces heat and has a much longer life than traditional CCFL lights. The multi function meter does not only display transmit power and signal strength, but also current and temperature of the final amplifier, SWR, ALC and compression level and much more.

A USB keyboard can be directly connected to the transceiver, allowing operation in PSK31 and RTTY without a computer. Another USB interface on the rear offers the usual remote control functions plus the receive and transmit audio. This allows for a much easier computer/transceiver integration.

Many more improvements like a selectable amplifier keying (FET or relay), freely programmable band edges, a solid 100W FET amplifier and much more turns the IC-7600 into the perfect HF transceiver for the ambitious radio amateur. And as usual with the best Icom quality!

Included in shipment are a handbook, hand microphone HM-36, carrying handle MB-121, a DC cable plus spare fuses and some hardware parts.

L' IC-9100 riassume in una radio sola tutta l'esperienza di ICOM di tanti anni. Il ricevitore HF eredita molte caratteristiche delle radio al top: roofing filters selezionabili, [3], doppio ricevitore supereterodina, DSP sulla media frequenza, due ricevitori separati e molto altro ancora. Più la rinnovata tradizione delle radio V/UHF Icom - ora tutto in un apparato.

Due ricevitori indipendenti vi consentono di operare su due bande differenti, per esempio sulle HF + VHF o UHF oppure VHF + UHF. Prima del primo stadio intermedio, vi sono tre roofing filters selezionabili per ridurre la banda passante per lo stadio successivo. Il filtro a 15 kHz è installato, quelli da 6 kHz o 3 kHz possono essere installati. Specialmente quello più stretto incrementa la selettività sulle HF e sui 50 MHz. Ogni ricevitore ha il proprio DSP per il filtraggio IF, notch, controllo AGC, filtro passa banda, riduzione del rumore e molto altro ancora.

Il trasmettitore offre la potenza di 100 W in HF, 50 MHz e 144 MHz, 75W sui 430 MHz e 10 W sui 23 cm, quando è installato il modulo opzionale per i 23 cm. L'accordatore d'antenna per le HF/50 MHz é già installato. L'unità opzionale D-STAR UT-121 vi consente di fruire della modulazione digitale in VHF e UHF ma anche sui 28 m e sui 50 MHz. Con il modulo D-STAR é possibile ricevere informazioni di posizione e distanza dalle stazioni remote. La vostra posizione è ricevuta dal modulo GPS opzionale o può essere inserita manualmente.

Anche per la comunicazione con il mondo esterno, Icom utilizza la collaudata tecnologia allo stato dell'arte: l'interfaccia CI-V CAT. Utilizzata da più di 20 anni è ancora disponibile ed è affiancata da una potente interfaccia USB. Quest'ultima offre non solo la funzionalità CAT ma anche l'interfacciamento audio. Ciò aggiunge alla radio la funzionalità di modem e di interfaccia audio rendendo inutile l'utilizzo di un'interfaccia esterna per tutti i modi operativi basati sul computer. Per decodificare la RTTY, addirittura non serve nemmeno il computer dal momento che l'IC-9100 lo fa internamente.

Basandosi sul successo ottenuto con i modelli IC-7400 e IC-7500, la Icom offre il IC-7410, il nuovo ricetrasmettitore HF DSP di gamma media. L'IC-7410 lavora su tuttle le bande HF più quella dei 6 metri e supporta tutte le modalità operative. Il progetto del ricevitore è basato su di un nuovo DSP di ultima generazione, più veloce dei modelli precedenti. Il nuovo convertitore AD/DA ha una migliore gamma dinamica e quindi un rapporto segnale/disturbo migliorato. Il ricevitore si avvale di un progetto supereterodina ed ha un eccellente IP₃ di +30 dBm.Tre filtri IF commutabili (roofing filters) aiutano il conseguimento di questo risultato eccellente (filtro 15 kHz installato, filtri da 3 e 6 kHz opzionali).

La grande esperienza sui ricetrasmettitori basati su DSP offre molti vantaggi al radioamatore. I filtri digitali selezionano la giusta banda passante per la situazione attuale. I filtri passa-banda gemelli aiutano ad eliminare i segnali non desiderati. L'AGC è integrato e controllato nel loop del DSP per prevenire la saturazione dovuta a segnali molto forti. Il filtro notch può funzionare in modalità automatica oppure manuale. Altre funzionalità del DSP sono il sistema di riduzione del rumore ed un efficace noise blanker. Il DSP viene utilizzato anche in trasmissione: compressione regolabile, larghezza di banda ed equalizzatore microfonico.

Il trasmettitore offre la potenza di 100W (27W in AM), regolabile fino ad un minimo di 2W. Il TXCO (oscillatore a cristallo controllato in temperatura) è installato di serie, per offrire la migliore stabilità in frequenza possibile. Il tuner interno accoppia ogni tipo di antenna da 16 a 150Ω. Il grande dispay LCD (leggermente più grande di quello dell'IC-7400) offre tutte le informazioni con un colpo d'occhio e rende molto facile l'utilizzo del sistema di menu. Mostra il nome delle memorie, un semplice analizzatore di banda oppure un decodificatore RTTY. L'interfaccia USB è già compresa per consentire di operare nei modi digitali senza la necessità di utilizzarne una esterna nella maggioranza dei casi. L'interfaccia CAT (via USB oppure la classica CI-V) offre capacità di controllo remoto complete. Con il software opzionale RS-BA1, l'IC-7410 può anche essere controllato in remoto via internet.

IC-7200

Icom IC-7200 ^[1]

The Icom IC-7200 is a compakt allmode HF/6m transceiver with IF DSP. That means that you never have to buy IF filters again. Just set the required bandwidth in the menu. The digital signal processor (DSP) is also responsible for an effective noise blanker, a manual notch filter (-70dB) and a useful noise reduction. Due to the integration of the DSP functions into the AGC loop distortions and blocking effects can be reduced at a large scale. For each mode three different AGC time constants can be set.

The transceiver is vary robust and made for outdoor use. It is not waterproof, but some drops of rain won't hurt the IC-7200. The double fan allows the powerful 100W transmitter to transmit for longer periods without overheating.

In contrast to many other transceivers the IC-7200 has a USB connector. This USB connection does not only offer the usual CAT functions but carries the audio signals as well! So the IC-7200 acts like an external USB sound device for your computer, thus greatly helping the integration into a remote controlled station. Of course the traditional CI-V CAT control is also available.

Furthermore the IC-7200 offers many more useful functions like 200 memories, attenuator, VOX, RIT, a built in voice synthesizer, Twin passband Tuning and much more.
