Scalar network analyser

SNA2550: PC based scalar network analyser up to 2500 MHz
The latest product by ELAD is a 'black box' except for the connectors. All controls and display is handled via the computer, connected via USB 2.0. This is not only cost wise a good solution, but offers many more possibilities like printing, archiving, mobile use etc.

Like a traditional network analyser, the SNA-2550 measure transmission and reflection from 400kHz to 2500MHz in five ranges. Output level is adjustable between -50 and 0dBm, the dynamic range is 60dB. The input attenuator can be adjustend from 0 to 50dB in 10dB steps. A semi-rigid coax cable is supplied for automatic calibration of the device.

The SNA-2550 power (12-15V) is supplied over the included USB cable.

The user interface on the PC is similiar to a traditional network analyser. All measurements and settings can be stored and later recalled. Windows 2000™, Windows XP™, Vista or Windows 7 32/64bit is required.

miniVNA HF/VHF Antenna analyzer

miniVNA: Miniature, PC based HF/VHF Antenna analyzer
The miniVNA is a tiny antenna analyser working from 0.1 to 180MHz. It is connected to a computer with just one USB cable, power is supplied over USB. An internal option for serial (RS-232) communications is available as well.

The miniVNA allows you to quickly analyze any antenna over a user defined frequency range between 0.1 and 180MHz. You see at a glance where the antenna is resonant, what the SWR is and what the return loss is. The best (minimal) SWR frequency is automatically found and displayed.

Two markers can be freely placed within the shown frequency range and measure impedance [Z], resistance [R], phase [ω] and other values at these points.

Other functions of the mniVNA allows you to measure cable losses, cable length, transmission, bandwidth and quality of filters etc.

With it's extremely small size, low power consumption and easy to use software interface the miniVNA offers a perfect device for HF/VHF measurements for the radio amateur. Whether at home in your shack or in the field during a fieldday or expedition. Size 90 x 85 x 25mm, ConnectorsS BNC.

Software is available for Windows™ and Linux™ operating systems.

A very special fun project is to use the mini-VNA together with a Bluetooth adaptor. Here the internal RS-232 serial interface is used. Both, the Bluetooth adaptor and the mini-VNA must be supplied with power from an external source (e.g. battery). The computer must have a Bluetooth interface. This enables remote measurements, for example right at the base of an antenna.

The mini-VNA Pro BT is a furthr development of the worldwide highly acclaimed mini-VNA Network Analyser. The most prominent enhancements are a built in LiIon battery and the new Bluetooth interface. MiniVNA Pro BT Extender

The manufacturer of the MiniVNA Pro BT plans an extender for this device, which will allow measurements up to 1500MHz. This extender is still under development and won't be available before December 2011. The price will be around 299,00 Euro incl. VAT. Please note that this extender will only work with the newer model MiniVNA Pro BT, not with the older model MiniVNA.
